Posted Date: 23/11/2021, Posted by Admin

Christmas is around the corner, and preparations are at their peak all over Manchester City. With all the glam and glee of festivity this year, the people of Manchester will get Manchester Christmas Markets back after being cancelled last year due to a coronavirus outbreak.

Following the cancellation last winter, the markets are back in 2021 with full swing. The Piccadilly Gardens is already decked up with food and drink stalls. There are more than six markets apart from Piccadilly Gardens, which will be the main Christmas market around Manchester.

With so much excitement and enthusiasm for Christmas markets, people of Manchester city are requested to stay safe during the celebration. For health safety, they are being put to Public Health Test so that the Christmas Markets are successful like in past years and generate jobs for thousands of people depending solely on trade.

The arrangements and public health guidelines were announced in September by the councillor Pat Karney who not only issued the information but also requested citizens to stay safe and secure.

Now, as the news is taking people head over the heels, their excitement sees no bound. Therefore, here is the list of places where Christmas Markets will be organized in 2021.

Six notable Christmas Markets to be held in Manchester

Market Street has been known as the one-stop place for traders and makers. This year also, you will be able to market some fantastic décor and other essential options from the Christmas list. However, this time the market will be organized at a smaller scale seeing the danger of COVID. Also, officials have requested to maintain proper social distance to promote safety.

  • Exchange Square

For foodies and street food lovers, Exchange Square has been a top-notch area. Last year, people could not enjoy their lip smacking Yorkshire Pudding Wrap from Pork Pig’s, but they can enjoy it with double enthusiasm this year. Alongside their favourite food, there will be Tikka Kebabs, Shawarma Kebabs, Gourmet Pizza and fresh local produce.

  • Cathedral Gardens

People who always planned their family evenings at Cathedral Gardens can do the same from this year. As usual, there will be Skate Manchester’s Ice Rink and a range of stalls serving delicious food and drinks for skaters. Also, there will be kids, and entertainment shows to keep the public glued to the fair.

  • New Cathedral Street

If you keep a secret corner in your heart for skincare, jewellery and handcrafted products, then New Cathedral Street is the best option for you. The place will have high-end shoemakers selling their handmade goods, craft makers, jewellery and vegan skincare products. We can also find cocktails and food.

  • St Ann’s Square

St Ann’s Square has been famous for its Lakeland Burger company which will be back, but there will also be a new streak of hand-pulled pizza arriving first time in here. Along with burgers and hand-pulled pizza, people will also be able to enjoy salt & pepper fries, fried chicken from Quarter’s Yard and Coop and some crafted beers.

There will also be the return of citizens’ favourite selfie print point in Campervan.

  • King Street

King Street will be back with its French themed gallic food, beers and wine stalls. There will also be the famous gin bar serving over 100 varieties of gin to choose from. There will also be an Italian Deli that will serve a variety of selections for ready-to-eat bakery products.
